She obtained her doctoral degree in Chemistry from the Department of Chemistry, University of Alberta, Canada and a Quality Management Certificate from the University of Manitoba Extended Studies. Dr. Nair has experience working in auditing facilities, conducting inspections, data reviews, report audits and preparing quality documents. Melding her academic and quality experience, Dr. Nair provides training and consultation to develop a quality complaint system in research labs.

Dr. David Wishart is a professor at the University of Alberta Faculty of Science. He is a world-leading researcher in the fields of metabolomics and precision medicine. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada. He has connections to industry and research in bioinformatics and the development of diagnostic medical tests. He led the “Human Metabolome Project” and is the current director of the metabolomic innovation centre (TMIC).

Chief Operating Officer & Co-Founder

Prashanthi Kovur is the COO & Co-Founder of Q Boost Inc. Dr. Kovur received her Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB). She has over 15 years of research and project management experience working in various organizations. Dr. Kovur has experience in team building, professional development, grant writing, and collaboration. She is also serving as the Research Review Consultant at Mitacs.

Head of Software Development

Vasuk Gautam is acting as head of software development to the Q Boost software development team. Dr. Gautam is a PhD. in computational biology and has worked in the field of multi-omics research. He has over 10 years of research experience in the field of Bioinformatics and software development. Dr.Gautam is also trained and certified Project Management professional. Apart from bioinformatics research, his initial professional experience also includes quality assurance & management in the Indian healthcare industry.

Mr Khan is acting as the Quality Advisor. He brings with him 35 years of combined experience working as a Laboratory scientist, as a Leader/Manager/Director, and as a compliance regulator and auditor of clinical, diagnostic, fertility, genetics, oncology, toxicology, endocrinology, pain management, pharmaceutical, and forensic -IP/OP Hospital Laboratories in the USA. He holds extraordinary knowledge and auditing experience in CAP, COLA, CLIA, FDA, DEA, ICH, AABB, BCC, and various ISO inspections.

Dana received her Bachelors in Computer Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Alberta. She has experience in developing user-friendly systems through her work in the social enterprise world. Her knowledge of software development was gained from working across several different fields including bioinformatics and commercial industries. She combines her software expertise and research lab experience to develop a robust quality software system.

Claudia Torres acts as a Quality Consultant for the Q Boost team. She received her Ph.D. degree in Biological Sciences from The Yucatan Scientific Research Center (CICY) in Mexico. Claudia has more than ten years of experience in the fields of Biotechnology and Molecular Biology. She also holds a Quality Management Certificate from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT).
